TUNEBOOKER

How Tunebooker works

Tunebooker is the direct way to book Australia's DJs and live acts. Stream their music, book the one you love, and pay securely — with no agency taking a cut in the middle.

Booking a DJ in 4 steps

  1. 1

    Discover and stream

Browse DJs and live acts by city, genre, or vibe, and listen to their real sets before you commit. What you hear is what you book.

  2. 2

    Request and agree a price

Send a booking request with your date and details. You and the artist can message and counter-offer until you settle on a price that works for both of you.

  3. 3

    Pay securely into escrow

Pay through Tunebooker. Your money is charged to your card and held safely in escrow — the artist isn't paid yet.

  4. 4

Enjoy the gig — then funds release

The artist plays your event. Their payment is released afterwards, either when you release it or automatically 48 hours later. If you cancel beforehand, you get a full refund.

Simple, transparent pricing

Browsing, streaming, and sending booking requests are free. Tunebooker charges a 10% platform fee on the booking value when you confirm — that's it. No subscriptions, no hidden booking fees, no agency markup.

Built on trust

  • Escrow on every booking. Funds are held until after the event, so your money is protected.
  • Two-sided reviews. Venues and artists review each other after each completed gig, so the ratings you see are earned.
  • Clear refunds. Cancel while funds are held and get a full refund — see our refund policy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book a DJ on Tunebooker?

Find an artist, stream their music, and send a booking request with your date and details. Once you and the artist agree on a price, you pay through the platform and the funds are held securely until after your event.

How much does Tunebooker cost?

Tunebooker charges a 10% platform fee on the booking value. There's no charge to browse, stream, or send a booking request — you only pay when you confirm a booking.

Is my payment safe?

Yes. Your payment is charged to your card and held in escrow by Tunebooker. The artist is only paid after the event — either when you release the funds, or automatically 48 hours after the event. If you cancel while funds are still held, you get a full refund.

What if the artist doesn't show up?
