Our position on copyright
Tunebooker takes intellectual property rights seriously. Music, photos, and video on Tunebooker are uploaded by artists and remain their property. Streaming a track through Tunebooker does not grant any user the right to download, copy, redistribute, sample, re-upload, or otherwise use that content outside of the platform.
Tunebooker is operated by Listiqa Pty Ltd (ACN 697 273 911, ABN 38 697 273 911) and acts as an online service provider within the meaning of Part V Division 2AA of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). We have implemented the policy below to receive and respond to claims of copyright infringement.
If your work has been infringed
If you believe content on Tunebooker infringes your copyright, send a written notice to copyright@tunebooker.com that includes all of the following:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, type of work, registration number if any, link to the original).
- The URL on Tunebooker where the infringing material is located (e.g. the artist profile or track page).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may not be actioned. We aim to acknowledge complete notices within five business days and remove or disable access to material that we determine in good faith to infringe copyright.
Counter-notice
If you uploaded material that was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@tunebooker.com including:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its prior location.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat infringers
Tunebooker will, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
For artists uploading content
By uploading a track, you confirm that you own all the rights necessary to make it available — or that you have the permission of every rights holder involved (including producers, sample owners, vocalists, label, and any sync/master rights). If your mix or set includes another artist's work, you are responsible for any clearances. We will remove tracks that are the subject of a valid takedown notice.
Artists can also help protect their work by:
- Watermarking audio with a brief audible drop-in or DJ tag.
- Registering original compositions with APRA AMCOS.
- Uploading only the version of the track you're happy to be heard publicly.
- Reporting any unauthorised use of your Tunebooker content elsewhere.
Tunebooker disables the browser download button on audio and video players and prohibits copying or redistribution under our Terms of Service. We cannot guarantee absolute protection — no streaming platform can — but downloading or redistributing another user's work via Tunebooker is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension, removal, and referral to authorities.
